Chihuly

Taken at the Chihuly exhibit at the New York Botanical Gardens. This was last summer I think. Not too hot so it must have been closer to fall. For those of you that don't know Chihuly is an artist that specializes in glass blowing. He does some really amazing work. I'll be posting some other shots soon. Also, this was taken with my crappy camera so the quality may not be as good. I apologize for this.

King of Cards

So McBride was amazing. I learned a lot. Naturally, I can't say everything I learned but I mostly learned theories and different perspectives. I did learn some new effects and flourishes. He did a small show where he performed magic that he learned all over the world in his travels. Some of the things he showed I had already seen from videos and dvds but seeing it in person is very different. In person you get to see everything.

If you have the chance to see him or catch one of his shows (in Las Vegas or on a tour) I would highly recommend checking it out.
